Clutch condition matters, but judder can also be influenced by control strategy, adaptation, engine torque delivery, mount condition or other driveline factors. We avoid condemning the clutch pack from the symptom alone.
The DCT control system manages clutch application and gear selection. Faults in sensing, electrical supply, hydraulic control or the mechatronic assembly can create warning messages and poor engagement. Diagnosis uses the stored fault pattern and operating data to narrow the control path.
